New eyes for new photos.

I’m inspired

Ever since living in Mexico City for the last month, I can say that I’m super inspired.

How and why?

  1. Focus on textures, colors, new ways of seeing the world
  2. More enjoyment of photographic process: Enjoying walking around, photographing anything and everything, and being genre-agnostic.
  3. Discovering new ways of processing images (Lightroom CC): Discovering new colors, processing style/aesthetics, and new delight in my own photos.

Why visual innovation?

Innovation simply means “new”. As photographers, our life blood is to make NEW photos. We must delight in also discovering new ways of pleasing our visual stimuli — new delight in new styles of photos.

Cross pollination

Don’t just find visual inspiration in photography or other traditional fields. Find inspiration in car design, fashion, or anything that is visual!

Find inspiration in curves, shapes, forms, color combinations, etc.

Generally speaking, the most interesting and innovative designs happen in “luxury” goods/clothes/tools/equipment/sector.

Stay hungry, stay foolish

Let us not forget the words of our late buddy Steve Jobs.

Always strive for better!
