How Dare You Not Photograph Like Me!

Never allow anyone else (including ERIC KIM) force you to shoot photographs against how you like to shoot.

Libertarian Photography

KRUGER x KIM

Photography should give you freedom, joy, and autonomy. You need TO MAKE and CREATE photographs from your own image. Your own world view. Your own subjective view or the world.

You can get tips, advice, and inspiration from other photographers and artists. But, never feel forced to do opposite of what your heart and creative soul tells you.

For example, don’t let any “experts” tell you what to shoot and what not to shoot. Don’t let “experts”, teachers, art critics, etc tell you that they’re right, and you’re “wrong” simply because they know how to name-drop the Masters of photography.

Shoot without hesitation!

When it comes to making pictures, SHOOT WITHOUT Hesitation! Whenever you hesitate in photography, you’re just expressing self-doubt in your vision and creative expression.

Don’t let your inner censor or your inner tyrant control you. You control what to shoot and what not to shoot. You control what pictures to share and what picture not to share.

You control your own fate, future, and present moment as an artist and photographer. Listen to the feedback, critique, and subversion of other artists or photographers whose work or opinion you admire, and decide how you want to integrate their ideas into your own work.

As for others, ignore everyone else, and never second-doubt yourself.

BE STRONG,
ERIC
