Damn it feels good to be fucking alive,
To jump and jive
to realize
that I am alive.

I am capable of love and joy
to play with my niece
to be like a grown-ass boy

To create and explore
to understand new worlds
to watch inspiration film
to make soulful beats
and to bite into the meat
of life

To make photos which uplift my soul
which feed my curiosity
Without my creative blood
that would be the loss of me

Everyday
every morning
when I wake up in bed
I look at the ivory ceiling
my calloused hands

I roll out of bed to the right
turn on the bathroom
bright white lights
brush my teeth
boil some water
put on my black clothes
make coffee
sit down on my firm chair
and start putting my fingers onto the keyboard
cool shit happens.

To me, coffee is proof that God loves us
to me, curiosity, love, and life is the greatest blessing
to me, we have no limits
no boundaries
no glass ceiling.

We can just put on our jetpack
explore the world
and be anything
we want to be

To explore our minds
our souls
over rough terrain
and to gain
a deeper
knowledge of the earth around us
and the universe, which uplifts our souls to the heavens.

with being angry
with being upset
with feeling indignant.

Rather, let me focus on my work.
Let me hustle hard
let me work on work that uplifts me, and will hopefully empower and uplift others.

Let me break off the golden-chains which imprison my own mind
to sip the thick sweet syrup of divine wine
that drips from my lips from the kiss
of my beautiful wife

in the majesty of trees
