The Best 49+ Photos from my Intro San Francisco Street Photography Workshop

Valid points, Mark, but…

1). But even presented as a “beginners’ experience, most of these images lack any notion of the “decisive moment”.

2.) A workshop won’t teach you anything if you don’t want to learn…and more importantly..,actually apply what you learned. What I’m seeing here is poor framing, poor exposure, and apertures that are not optimal. My suggestion of a workshop, or an extended course, may help with this.

3,) My idea of street photography is that it contain a true “decisive moment”. I don’t see that anywhere here. Pictures of a saxophone and a hat in the window are throwaways in this genre.

4.) The price of equipment is indeed irrelevant. In this case I believe the M9 owners truly expect that ownership of this camera will instill Cartier-Bresson-like qualities to their images. But, hey, it’s their money and they can spend it as they like.

Like I said, I don’t mean to be harsh or rude, but what are we doing here…promoting mediocre and poor photography…trying to pass it off as something special?
