1x1.trans Leica M9 and 35mm f/1.4 Summilux Unboxing and First Impressions

You guys may have heard that Leica has generously sent me a Leica M9 and 35mm f/1.4 Summilux to test out and review. Here is a quick and dirty video I put together unboxing the work of art, and giving my first impressions. I have already taken a ton of great images, and have many exciting things to say about the camera. Stay tuned for more images and a full-review of the Leica M9 and 35mm f/1.4 Summilux.

Got any questions about the M9 or the 35mm? Leave a comment below and I’ll try my best to hit all the questions you may have!

Lucky, lucky, lucky ….you :) I’m happy for you, being able to loan a M9 for testing, you’re definitely one of the bloggers and street photographers that I think really deserves the honor of being on Leica’s “loan list”.

Hopefull you’ll do more videos about the M9 but please try to improve the audio a little bit :)

I’m consumed with jealousy. Consumed! Paris with an M9; does it get any better? The pressure is on Eric – looking forward to those pictures.

So is the ricoh 3 still the best street camera? :D
    Awesome, enjoy!!!

The Ricoh GR III is still a phenomenal camera, but it may no longer be the best ;)

I actually see panasonic have announced they will be splitting the GF series in to entry level and advanced level, maybe some promise there for a great camera with interchangeable lens, fast focus, and more manual controls :)

Welcome to taking a bite out of the apple!
Be interested to see how things will work out for you with the combo.
I’m not going to say much…. Just want to see if you get the same feeling I did that has changed me forever.

    what a cruddy unboxing.
I saw nothing but the box for more than 3/4th of this entire video.
And the shaking hand that held the camera? Give me Aleve.

Apologies Sace, it was my first one ;) I’ll try to do it a bit better next time
